Kimberly Madison, MS, LPC

I am the founder of Emeralds of Hope Counseling, LLC. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Georgia. I hold a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling obtained from Mercer University. I specialize in supporting adults and teens navigating high-functioning anxiety, attachment wounds, and unresolved trauma.

As a Navy Veteran, wife and mom to three children, I am not exempt from life experiences and therefore approach working with clients from a place of compassion. I love spending time with my family and friends and believe in putting God first.

Desya Metzger, Marriage & Family Therapist Intern, MA

Relationships influence the way we see ourselves, connect with others, and move through life. I work with women, couples, adolescents, and families who may feel stuck in unhealthy patterns, overwhelmed by life transitions, experiencing relationship concerns, or struggling to balance their own needs with those of others.

I provide a supportive and open-minded space to explore challenges, gain insight, strengthen communication, and create meaningful change. Together, we will work toward building healthier connections and a life that feels more aligned with who you want to be.

I support clients through relationship concerns, family dynamics, life transitions, anxiety, stress, self-esteem challenges, and women’s mental health concerns. My approach is collaborative and tailored to your unique experiences, helping you build insight, develop practical tools, and create healthier patterns that support long-term growth.

Starting therapy can feel unfamiliar or overwhelming, and reaching out is often the hardest part. Whether you are seeking support, clarity, healing, or simply a space to feel heard, you do not have to navigate things alone. I welcome you into a supportive environment where meaningful change can begin at your own pace.
